Over the years, Bundaberg Walkers has been involved with many successful major projects both within the Australian Sugar Industry and for the International Sugar Industry.

Major projects generally include contributions from all areas of the organisation. Bundaberg Walkers can provide consultancy services, project management, design services, manufacturing services and site installation.

Access to a diverse network of contacts within the sugar industry, external proprietary equipment suppliers and various service providers complements the experience that Bundaberg Walkers possesses while undertaking major projects.

Sugar projects regularly undertaken include factory audits, refurbishments and upgrades, new installations through to green field turn key projects. Particular projects have included complete cane handling systems, mill house equipment, process house equipment, boilers and steam generation.

The further development of low energy milling, factory energy conservation and the integration of co-generation and ethanol production are of particular interest to Bundaberg Walkers for future sugar projects.
